Together, we find solutions to improve the real estate life cycle for every REALTIST® and their client. Our local affiliate organizations are:

Scholarship Program
An important ARPB membership benefit is our scholarship program.  Scholarships are given to graduating high school seniors.
First-Time Homebuyers Grant
(Available through ARPB, Inc. Member Agents or Affiliates)
Criteria
  • Current paid Member Agent or Affiliate must request application
  • Application fee, $15 nonrefundable, must be submitted 30 days before closing
  • Applicant must be Oakland resident
  • Applicant must be a first-time homebuyer, according to HUD standards
  • Property purchased must be in City of Oakland
  • Property may be either a single-family dwelling or a condominium
  • Funds to be used towards buyers' closing costs
  • Funds to be returned if escrow does not close
  • Maximum funds received is $2500, as approved by committee and based upon availability
The purchaser is required to participate by utilizing an active member of ARPB, Inc., to be eligible
